California Foreclosure Prevention Advisors have been assisting homeowners with their home retention and foreclosure needs for a number of years, with great success and at no cost to them.
We have participated over the years with a number of governmental and non-governmental refinance, forbearance, and modification programs, such as Making Home Affordable, The HARP Program, and Keep Your Home California among others.
Because of our continuous interaction with mortgage companies, servicers, financial institutions, and government entities, in addition to our numerous certifications, we are well versed and knowledgeable with all the current home retention and foreclosure prevention information and programs being offered to homeowners by their mortgage companies.

Due in part to the Covid-19 Crisis, we have been assisting homeowners who have fallen behind or will soon fall behind on their mortgage payments and are in need of information or assistance on the current mortgage moratorium (CARES Act), which provides forbearance, payment deferral, and or modification options that are being offered by participating mortgage companies.
Homeowners must keep in mind that the current forbearance program is only a temporary solution of up to 12 months and will eventually come to an end, unless the moratorium is extended. Because of the forbearance time lines, homeowners need to be aware of what long term options / programs are available and how to either be eligible or qualify for them with their mortgage companies.
It is also very important for homeowners to understand that if their mortgage payments were later prior to the CARES – ACT Covid-19 moratorium, they may not be eligible for the payment deferral program which places all late mortgage payments on the rear of the loan, and will have to request a standard loan modification which is based on their income and other factors.
Neighborhood Housing Services of the Inland Empire (NHSIE), stands ready to evaluate each and every homeowners financial situation and provide them with the most updated information and or assistance needed for the best work out options available to them, so that they are able to remain in their home.
